Water-immiscible liquids (oils) and low melting point water-insoluble solids (waxes, resins, etc.) can be emulsified (one liquid suspended in another) to allow incorporation into a water-based formulation.

Akron Dispersions produces stable, homogenous emulsions of antioxidants, waxes, and plasticizers which are readily mixed in all proportions with other water-based materials.
